This summer has been filled with exploration, creativity, friendship, and fun at Montessori Children’s House. Throughout the season, Camp Discovery campers enjoyed a variety of hands-on experiences that encouraged curiosity, discovery, and learning through play.
From water play and outdoor adventures to nature scavenger hunts and bug hunts, children had countless opportunities to connect with the world around them. Campers embraced each activity with enthusiasm as they explored nature, observed wildlife, and made exciting discoveries along the way.
In addition to daily camp activities, children enjoyed several special visits throughout the summer. We were delighted to welcome Briar Bush Nature Center and Safari Parties, whose interactive presentations introduced campers to fascinating animals and inspired a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Our summer program also featured creative experiences that allowed children to express themselves through art, sensory activities, and imaginative play. Whether creating shaving cream masterpieces, participating in themed projects, or collaborating with friends, campers approached each day with energy and excitement.
One of the greatest joys of Camp Discovery has been watching children build friendships, gain confidence, and create lasting memories together. Through shared experiences and new adventures, campers continued to grow while making the most of a summer filled with learning and fun.
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, we are grateful for the wonderful camp season we have shared so far.
